Islamabad (PR) – Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Chairman of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party and head of the Pakistan Constitution Protection Movement, alongside leaders Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, Salman Akram Raja and others, held a press conference announcing a two-day All-Parties Conference on July 31 and August 1, 2025. The conference will include politicians, retired generals, judges, journalists, traders, lawyers, farmers, laborers, and representatives from all sectors.

Achakzai emphasized the conference’s focus on the supremacy of the Constitution, inflation, law and order, press freedom, judiciary independence, and other pressing national issues. He urged collective and wise decision-making to save the country from ruin.

Highlighting recent unrest and displacement from Bajaur to Waziristan, Achakzai expressed concern over rising anarchy and violence. He condemned the use of military force against civilians and stressed that Pakistan’s children, including soldiers, are all part of one nation.

Achakzai criticized the crackdown on opposition, especially the imprisonment of former Prime Minister Imran Khan despite his party’s electoral victory on February 8. He condemned the imposition of government through coercion and warned that governance by force undermines the country’s social contract.

He called on all constitutional institutions to respect their limits and demanded formation of a neutral election commission accepted by all parties. The alliance vowed to mobilize across Pakistan, from Gilgit-Baltistan to Gwadar, peacefully but resolutely, against the current regime’s oppression.

Achakzai reiterated that their movement is committed to restoring constitutional rule and people’s power through collective wisdom, not violence or threats, to save Pakistan’s future.
