Quetta (PR)Leaders of the Pashtun National Awami Party have stated that tribal conflicts are not a solution to the problems of the Pashtun nation. Instead, such disputes and resentments only deepen divisions, and ultimately, jirgas and negotiations prove to be the final and effective resolution.Expressing sorrow over the unfortunate incident between two parties in Ziarat, which resulted in loss of life and property, the party’s Central Senior Secretary Syed Qadir Agha Advocate, Central Finance Secretary Yousaf Khan Kakar, and Provincial Secretary First Khushal Kasi offered condolences on the death of Zafar Kakarr and Alauddin. They spoke to attendees at the condolence gathering. Provincial Deputy Secretaries Professor Asad Khan Tarin and Ahmed Khan Luni were also present on the occasion. The leaders said that the ancient Pashtun code, positive traditions, and the jirga system still hold strong power to resolve mutual grievances and conflicts and provide sustainable solutions. They described the Ziarat incident as deeply regrettable and urged the parties involved to exhibit patience and resolve their differences through jirga. They also noted that a jirga had already been formed to address this issue. They appealed to the entire Pashtun nation, emphasizing that such tribal disputes are detrimental to the collective and national interests of the nation and the concerned tribes. Therefore, the demands of time and circumstances require adopting a serious and constructive approach. The Pashtun National Awami Party made it clear that it is ready to cooperate fully in resolving such issues and that the party leadership will play an active role in promoting national unity and harmony, and in ending existing resentments between various parties.
