spokesperson for the Government of Balochistan, has issued a stern response to Senator Amil Wali Khan’s recent remarks regarding the human tragedy in the province. Rind criticized Amil Wali Khan for attempting to exploit the tragedy for political gains and urged him to show practical solidarity with the victims instead of indulging in point scoring.The spokesman emphasized that the Chief Minister of Balochistan is not merely an investigative officer but a responsible leader taking concrete steps to ensure justice. He highlighted that the Chief Minister has formed a high-level investigative team and is personally overseeing the progress. Rand noted that CM Mir Sarfraz Bugti has stood firmly with the victims since day one.Further, Rind described Senator Amil Wali Khan’s statement as lacking seriousness, knowledge, and reflecting bias. He accused Khan of focusing on political slogans while the people of Balochistan are grieving. Rand criticized Khan for his failure to resolve issues in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and advised him to refrain from commenting on Balochistan affairs without understanding the province’s sensitivities and traditions.The government spokesperson declared that politicizing the wounds of Balochistan’s people is unacceptable and that no one will be allowed to use the province for political spectacle. He urged Amil Wali Khan to stop tarnishing Balochistan’s image to boost his failing political career. Rand questioned Khan’s contributions to Balochistan and condemned using the victims’ plight for political interests as a shameful act.Rind concluded by contrasting Khan’s rhetoric against tribal and jirga systems with CM Sarfraz Bugti’s longstanding practical struggle against the same.
