Islamabad,In response to a request from Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has decided to transfer bulletproof vehicles, originally allocated to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, to the Balochistan government. This decision aims to enhance the capabilities of security institutions in combating terrorism and further strengthen the protection of lives and property in the province. Following the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s refusal to accept the bulletproof vehicles, CM Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti took to the social media platform X on Wednesday, tagging Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and requesting the transfer of these vehicles to Balochistan. Responding promptly to the tweet, Minister Naqvi announced that the vehicles would be provided to the Balochistan government to bolster security measures in the province. Expressing gratitude on behalf of the people of Balochistan, CM Sarfraz Bugti lauded the timely and positive decision by the Federal Interior Minister. He stated that the federal government’s support is commendable in addressing the security challenges faced by Balochistan. The Chief Minister emphasized that peace and stability in Balochistan remain the top priority of the government, and the provincial administration, in collaboration with federal institutions, will continue robust operations against elements threatening peace. He further noted that this decision will not only strengthen the province’s security forces but also enhance public confidence and trust.
