On September 27, 2025, the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected cabinet of the Balochistan University Administrative Officers Association was held with great enthusiasm and dignity. The honorable Chief Guest of the event was Dean of Faculty, Professor Dr. Kaleemullah Barach. The ceremony was also graced by the presence of esteemed faculty members of the University of Balochistan, officers, representatives of the Academic Staff Association, President of the Employees Association Shaa Ali Bugti along with cabinet members, President of Balochistan Grand Alliance Professor Abdul Qudoos Kakar, President of Pakistan Workers Federation Pir Muhammad Kakar with organizational office bearers, President of SISA Balochistan Muhammad Hanif Banglezai and colleagues, as well as senior officers and teachers from other higher education institutions, employees, and media representatives. The event’s stage secretary duties were performed by Syed Shah Babar.The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a warm welcome for the honored guests and the formal start of the program.General Secretary of the Officers Association, Naimatullah Kakar, extended a welcome to all participants. The Election Commissioner, Mr. Ghulam Dastgir, announced the new elected cabinet, including the positions of President, Vice President, General Secretary, Joint Secretary, Finance Secretary, and other executive members.Professor Dr. Kaleemullah Barach administered the oath to the elected office bearers, who pledged to uphold honesty, integrity, dedication, and the objectives of the association.During the ceremony, respected guests including Professor Abdul Qudoos Kakar, Muhammad Hanif Banglezai, Pir Muhammad Kakar, Professor Dr. Kaleemullah Kakar, Shaa Ali Bugti, and others addressed the gathering. They emphasized that the Administrative Officers Association is a representative body of the University’s officers and has always stood firmly for the rights and welfare of university officers, faculty members, and employees through practical efforts.Newly elected President Nazir Ahmed Leghari outlined the association’s priorities and future action plans in his speech. He assured all members of making decisions based on transparency, service, and merit. He affirmed their commitment to vigorously pursuing solutions to all issues affecting university officers, including promotions, upgrades, time scales, restoration of various deducted allowances, and timely salary payments.The event concluded with a prayer, followed by a lunch reception hosted for the attendees.This oath-taking ceremony was a historic occasion that heralded organizational harmony and positive progress. All participants appreciated the event and expressed hope that the new leadership would play a significant role in improving the university system.
