Quetta: While speaking to the media at Civil Hospital, BNP Vice President Sajid Tareen reported that 13 workers lost their lives in an explosion that occurred in the parking area at the end of the gathering, and more than 22 others were injured. Among the injured are former MPA Ahmed Nawaz and central leader Musa Baloch.Sajid Tareen further stated that he had foreseen the possibility of such an unfortunate incident and had contacted the district administration well in advance regarding the gathering and security arrangements.Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the CTD described the explosion at Shahwani Stadium as an apparent suicide attack and said that evidence was being collected from the blast site to facilitate further investigation.
