Karachi (PR) — Khushal Khan Kakak, Chairman of Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party, on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of national Usman Khan Kakak, stated that Usman Khan Kakak dedicated his life to patriotic politics and struggle, making many sacrifices. He remained steadfast in his efforts and organized the party. Khushal Khan Kakak emphasized that the martyr stood firm on his principles and valued love for the homeland and nation above his life and family.

He said that political and democratic unity among Pashtunkhwa’s forces is essential; otherwise, the public will lose trust in leadership. The national martyr raised his voice against colonial policies and transformed the party into a genuine national movement. His martyrdom aimed to weaken the Pashtun national struggle.

The Chairman criticized the current constitution and parliament for denying rights to Pashtuns and other oppressed nations. He condemned the manipulation of the FATA merger and ongoing seizures of land and resources. Illegal exploitation of mineral wealth and the approval of the Mines and Minerals Act were declared unacceptable. He expressed deep concern about increasing insecurity, terrorism, and lawlessness in Pashtunkhwa, adding that former President Trump’s declarations equate to occupation of the region.

Khushal Khan Kakak highlighted the injustice faced by Pashtuns, Balochs, Sindhis, and Saraikis due to dominance of Punjab and upper castes, despite their large population. He praised the Pashtun people’s sacrifices in the war against terrorism but condemned their deprivation of basic rights.

He appealed to Pashtun political democratic leadership to unite against terrorism, insecurity, and for rightful control over resources. He called on all parties to develop a joint framework for the Pashtun national political movement.

The chairman demanded an end to extortion of Pashtun traders and strongly condemned demolition of commercial warehouses in areas like Yusuf Goth. He urged the PPP government to release Pashtun leader Ali Wazir from illegal detention, labeling his arrest political.

In conclusion, Khushal Khan Kakak appreciated the hard work of party officials and workers and committed to continuing efforts to strengthen and organize the party. The Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party will lead the Pashtun national movement from the forefront.
