Quetta, – The 21-day Faculty Development Program aimed at enhancing the professional capacity and teaching standards of faculty members at the University of Balochistan was successfully concluded today. This program was organized in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Faculty Training and Development Center (FTDC), University of Mir Chakar Khan Rind Sibi, and University of Balochistan.
The closing ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Vice Chancellor of the University of Mir Chakar Khan Rind Sibi, Professor Dr. Mumtaz Baloch, and Guest of Honor Professor Dr. Zainab Bibi, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Information Sciences, University of Balochistan. Other distinguished attendees included Advocate Abdul Quddus, Registrar of University of Mir Chakar Khan Rind Sibi, Mr. Nuralamin Kakarr, Director of FTDC, Trainer Muhammad Asif, Mr. Muhammad Sadiq Smallani, Director of Public Relations, Mr. Muhammad Yousuf Gul, and Training Coordinator Naveed Iftikhar Ahmed. A large number of faculty members, trainers, and participants were also present.
Certificates were awarded to all participants during the event, while special shields of honor were presented to the chief guests, experts, and trainers.
In their speeches, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mumtaz Baloch and Professor Dr. Zainab Bibi praised the initiative, emphasizing that continuous training of faculty not only strengthens the teaching process but also aligns universities with international educational standards. Throughout the program, expert educators, experienced professors, and vice chancellors from various universities delivered sessions on teaching strategies, research, curriculum development, leadership, and emerging trends in higher education.
At the conclusion of the program, participants expressed their commitment to applying the acquired skills in their respective institutions and advancing the process of academic and teaching development.
