In a crucial law and order meeting held in Quetta, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti pledged to root out terrorism and dismantle Indian-backed networks operating under the banner of Fitna-ul-Hindustan.
The high-level security session brought together key officials including the Inspector General of Police, senior officers from Frontier Corps (FC) North, Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), Special Branch, Levies, and the provincial Home Department.
Focus on Coordinated Security Operations
Briefing the participants, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti gave a comprehensive overview of the current security situation across Balochistan. He highlighted recent operations and challenges in implementing the Provincial Action Plan against extremist elements.
“Restoring peace in Balochistan is not just a job for the state—it’s a collective national responsibility,” Bugti said. He emphasized that all state institutions are united in purpose and operating in full coordination.
Indian-Backed Terrorists in the Crosshairs
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi issued a strong condemnation of Fitna-ul-Hindustan, describing them as enemies of peace and pawns in a larger anti-Pakistan agenda. “Those sponsoring terror from across the border will not escape justice,” Naqvi declared.
He added, “Anyone who challenges the writ of the state will be dealt with an iron hand. We stand shoulder to shoulder with the Balochistan government in this fight.”
Unity, Sacrifice, and Resolve
Both Naqvi and Bugti paid tribute to the sacrifices of security personnel and civilians in the fight against terrorism. They vowed that these sacrifices would not go in vain and that peace would be maintained at all costs.
In a joint message, the federal and provincial leadership reaffirmed their resolve to defeat all anti-state elements and ensure long-term peace and stability in Balochistan.
