Quetta, The 188th meeting of the Advanced Studies and Research Board (AS&RB) was held today at the Syndicate Hall of the Vice Chancellor Secretariat, University of Balochistan, under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Bazai.
The meeting conducted a detailed review of academic and research matters related to MS, MPhil, and PhD programs. During the session, various research papers, theses, and research synopses were approved. The board emphasized the importance of research quality, innovative approaches, and alignment with national and regional development, reaffirming its commitment to promoting high academic standards.
The meeting was attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ghulam Razaq Shahwani, Deans of various faculties, Directors, Chairman GSO Dr. Qaiser Iqbal, Registrar Muhammad Tariq Jogezai, Controller of Examinations Dr. Muhammad Sharif Hasni, and other board members.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor appreciated the scholarly and research efforts of the scholars and their supervisors, stating that University of Balochistan is progressing steadily in the fields of teaching and research, with continued focus on maintaining and enhancing academic quality in the future.
